One of the nation’s best prospects is set to announce his commitment and Ohio State is a “finalist.” Arizona tight end Duce Robinson will make his verbal commitment tomorrow and the Buckeyes are one of the schools he’s considering. But are they really an option?
Although Robinson hasn’t officially trimmed down his list, this graphic shared by Hayes Fawcett of On3 has Ohio State as an option. The key here is most likely the baseball program, and the Buckeyes can’t match what his other top options can on the diamond.
The two-sport star also has offers from USC, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and others who all have higher-profile baseball teams. Robinson is the nation’s top tight end and No. 17 overall player according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Ohio State will be getting a BOOM! when Robinson makes his verbal commitment on Thursday, but we can hope right?
