Betting Ohio State players for the 2023 season: Emeka Egbuka

The Ohio State football team kicks off the 2023 college football season this week against the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday at 3:30 P.M. We have a few days to lock in our season prop bets and FanDuel has two intriguing player props for Emeka Egbuka.

The regular season receiving touchdown total for Egbuka is set at 9.5 and although I am less confident in this prop for Egbuka compared to Marvin Harrison Jr.’s prop for the same category, it still feels like a good bet to take. Egbuka surpassed this mark last season as he scored ten touchdowns and it is reasonable to think that his number of targets would increase in 2023.

The regular season receiving yards total for Egbuka sits at 925.5 yards and this feels like an easy bet to take the over on. Egbuka earned 1,151 receiving yards last season. In order for Egbuka to hit this total, he would have to average 77 yards receiving a game, and that feels more than reasonable given the expectations surrounding the Ohio State passing game.
