It was a rivalry week to remember.
The 2023 college football regular season has officially come to a close.
Feels weird to say, right? With the playoff expanding next season, this felt like the end of an era. Well, it was an era that went out with a bang — and rivalry week was no exception. From iconic game-winning moments to gut-wrenching defeats, the final week of the regular season had it all.
THE GAME BRINGS THE DRAMA
Ryan Day, what happened? A game with rivalry, Big Ten, playoff, and national championship implications on the line came down to the absolute wire. In the end, Michigan emerged victorious for the third season in a row and now has a date with Iowa in Indianapolis.

ALABAMA WINS ON THE MILROE MIRACLE
In one of the most improbable endings to a game you will ever see, Alabama (and the Iron Bowl) delivered on 4th and 31. Jalen Milroe’s miracle pass will go down alongside the Kick Six as one of the most iconic plays in this rivalry’s history, and the Crimson Tide’s 27-24 win kept its playoff hopes alive.

WASHINGTON STAYS ALIVE
Washington is once again beating the Pac-12 cannibalization allegations. On a field goal as time expired, the Huskies outlasted their rival Cougars and now have a rematch with Oregon in the Pac-12 title game. Michael Penix Jr. continues to make his case for the Heisman Trophy, and this 24-21 win over Washington State is just another feather in his cap.

The Noles took down their rival Gators 24-15 and are still undefeated. Now, they are a win over Louisville in the ACC Championship away from a College Football Playoff berth.

FAREWELL, BIG TEN WEST
While many of you were likely enjoying family time or some Thanksgiving leftovers, dozens of us were watching the Big Ten West’s curtain call. This game had the lowest over/under in college football history, and the under still hit.
