Ohio State lost a great ambassador of the school on Wednesday as former alum and comedian,Richard Lewis, passed away due to a heart attack.
Lewis graduated with a marketing degree and has been a life-long Buckeye football fan. He has on multiple occasions expressed his hatred for Ohio State’s main rival, Michigan.
Although Lewis didn’t use his marketing degree, he still had an exceptional acting and comedic career. Multiple appearances on late night talk shows along with major movie roles and one of my personal favorite shows, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
In his later years he had multiple health issues, most notably Parkinson’s disease, which forced him to retire from performing his stand-up routine in 2023.
