Former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott reunites with his former NFL team

||

The Dallas Cowboys made former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott the No. 4 pick of the 2016 NFL draft, and at the time, it looked like a fantastic selection.

An All-Pro performance his rookie year while leading the NFL in rushing, Elliott dominated from the get-go. He’d go on to make the Pro Bowl in 2016, 2018 and 2019, while again leading the league in rushing during the ‘18 season.

Elliott would pass 1,000 yards just one more time after his fantastic 2019 campaign, and Dallas would cut ties in 2022. He’d go on to sign with New England this past season, but it didn’t work out for him and hit the open market again.

The Cowboys thought enough to bring Elliott back for this coming season, as they signed him to a 1-year contract on Monday. Hopefully Zeke can find the magic that made him one of the NFL’s best during this, his second stint with Dallas.
