Former Ohio State star heads to CFL

||

We have talked about former Ohio State stud receiver, Austin Mack, and the success he had this past season with the Montreal Alouettes. He earned Canadian Football League All-Star honors and parlayed that success into another NFL shot with the Atlanta Falcons.

Mack isn’t the first former Buckeye to take his talents up north and thrive at the receiver position as DeVier Posey earned Grey Cup MVP honors with the Toronto Argonauts, Duron Carter was a two-time All-Star, and of course, Ken-Yon Rambo was an All-Star for the Calgary Stampeders.

Now it appears another Ohio State alum will get a chance to showcase his skills. Former Buckeye, K.J. Hill, was signed today by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Hill holds the record for most career receptions in Ohio State history and is tied for the record with 48 consecutive games with a reception.

Hill was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers, but failed to find footing and was released in 2021. He will have to shake off the rust, but he certainly has the skills to dominate in the CFL.
