Line moves in favor of Ohio State to now beat Missouri in the Cotton Bowl

||

When the line first came out for the Cotton Bowl between Ohio State and Missouri, the Buckeyes were slight underdogs according to BetMGM by -1.5 points. These things get set based upon information that is known at the time, and at that point, it was known that starting quarterback Kyle McCord was transferring and that there would probably be several other opt-outs after the Buckeyes missed out on their priority of making the College Football Playoff.

Since then though, we’ve heard almost nothing about players wanting to sit out in Dallas. Myan Williams declared for the NFL draft, so he’s out, and Lathan Ramsom isn’t going to make it back from injury, but beyond that, it’s starting to look like almost everyone else is going to suit up. To be fair, there’s still some news that could come out between now and Friday when the game kicks off, but right now, there is a solid bunch looking to finish the season the right way for the Scarlet and Gray.

In fact, all current players have made the trip, so make of that what you will,

And with the news, the line has flipped to now favoring Ohio State just a few days away from kickoff in AT&T Stadium. OSU is now favored by a whole -1 point according to the new, updated odds from our friends at BetMGM.

There could still be a little movement as we approach the game, but make note of the change, and do with it as you will. In the meantime, as we get more news about who might be sitting out, we’ll bring it to you.
