Ohio State basketball has been looking into the transfer portal to put the finishing touches on its roster, and you can say part of the mission was accomplished on Saturday.
Former San Diego State guard, Micah Parrish, committed to the Buckeyes, as the 6-foot, 6-inch and 195-pound player will make Columbus his next home. The Detroit native has been a consistent player during his collegiate career, averaging 9.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steal per game.
Parrish was named to the 2022 Horizon All-Defense team, so he’s not just a one-dimensional player that new head coach Jake Diebler will have at his disposal. He also brings a winning mentally, as he was instrumental in helping SDSU make the NCAA Championship game in 2023.

This may be the final addition for the Buckeyes via the transfer portal, but that could change. Parrish will have just one season with Ohio State as he is a graduate transfer.
