Ohio State is facing Michigan on Saturday afternoon, but a quick look at the calendar tells us it is no longer fall, but winter hopefully starting to give way to spring. In other words, take down the snow and bring on the sleet and occasional tempting warmer weather.
This time, it’s the Buckeyes and Wolverines doing battle on the ice, but the contest is being thrown outdoors for a pretty unique and special event in the history of the two programs being named the “Faceoff on the Lake.”
Ohio State and Michigan will do battle outdoors inside the home of the Cleveland Browns, FirstEnergy Stadium. It should look pretty amazing on your high-definition or streaming device, and the Buckeyes are even commemorating the moment with some pretty special threads that honor the football team from the 1940s.
