Ohio State included top 12 of instate high priority cornerback target

||

Over recent years, Ohio State has been very selective in recruiting in-state players. The 2024 class has been no different, with the exception that there have been more offers out than in recent years.

One of those exceptions is Springfield’s Aaron Scott. The 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback has been very active with visits this spring, recently visiting Columbus along with Notre Dame.

With Scott inching towards a decision, today he released his top 12 remaining schools with Ohio State making the list. He is a top target for the Buckeyes, considering he’s a top 100 player, No. 71 nationally by the 247Sports composite rankings, and right in their backyard.

Scott currently has not made a decision on when he will make his verbal commitment, but Ohio State has to like its chances in his recruitment.

He’s even being recruited by 5-star Buckeye wide receiver commit Jeremiah Smith to stay home.

Hopefully, he more than hears Smith’s attempt for him to stay in Ohio.
