Ohio State recruiting scouting report: Mylan Graham

||

Ohio State football had another dominant recruiting class and was a consensus top-five class in the country. Once again, the class features some serious star power on the offensive side of the football, especially at wide receiver, and in addition to snagging Jeremiah Smith, Mylan Graham is another star who isn’t too far behind.

Name: Mylan Graham

High School: New Haven (New Haven, IN)

Height: 6 feet, 1 inch

Weight: 170 pounds

Position: Wide Receiver

Strengths

Mylan Graham has the potential to have elite size for the receiver position, not just due to his ideal height, but due to his extremely impressive length. He is a very quick receiver with the acceleration to be devastating once the ball is in his hands. Graham will get a shot in the return game during his time in Columbus.

Weaknesses

Graham is listed at 170 pounds, but even that weight is hard to believe. He has an excellent frame so his size doesn’t worry me, but he will need to fill out more before seeing the field. Graham also looks fast on film, but the competition he was facing was not elite so despite looking fast, I would love to see that speed confirmed before signing off.

Expectations

Mylan Graham has a ton of potential, but between his body not being Big Ten-ready and the insane depth at the receiver position, it is hard to envision him seeing the field too early. I can envision Graham being a top-tier receiver and an absolute dynamo in the intermediate game with his short-area quickness.
