Earlier this month it was announced that Ohio State running back Dallan Hayden was entering the transfer portal. It now appears Colorado is a candidate to land the talented running back as the Deion Sanders coached squad is set to host Hayden on a visit.
Hayden has showcased a lot of potential when he’s gotten on the field for the Buckeyes over the last two seasons. He is a patient runner with good burst and elusiveness in the open field.
In the 2022 season, Hayden had three games with 100+ rushing yards most — notably a 146 rushing yard, three touchdown performance against Maryland.
With the Buckeyes one-two punch at running back next season featuring Treveyon Henderson and Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, it was going to be difficult for Hayden to see significant playing time if he stayed with the Buckeyes.
