Ohio State women swim and dive team win fourth-straight Big Ten title

||

The Ohio State women’s swim and dive team is starting to make a habit of winning Big Ten titles after winning its fourth straight on Saturday.

The Buckeyes totaled 1,425 points to capture the championship over second-place Indiana, with 1,291.5 points, and third-place Michigan, with 1,108 points. It all went down at the Canham Natatorium on the campus of the University of Michigan.

Ohio State had been in control of the championships since Thursday when it won the fifth race of the competition. All told, the Buckeyes dominated by winning 11 total races and setting seven total Canham Natatorium pool records, seven school records, and one Big Ten championships mark.

Starting with the fourth race 200 IM that gave the Buckeyes a boost, Ohio State won five consecutive races and nine of the next 12, and never looked back.

Here’s a look at all of the Big Ten champions that swam in the pool for OSU thanks to a release from the Ohio State Dept. of Athletics:
