When the season ended for Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Caleb Kelly against Baylor, he didn’t pout or hide in the shadows. He took to Twitter to campaign former head coach, and the guy that recruited him, Bob Stoops for a spot on Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff.
Stoops went to work and Fox obliged, bringing the defensive captain on the show for the pregame festivities in Norman. And Caleb Kelly looked the part of a future broadcaster.

Kelly’s laid back and enigmatic personality shone through on the airwaves during his segment during the pregame show and was a fantastic look in at one of Oklahoma’s most beloved players in recent years.

The future remains unknown for the sixth-year senior, but it’s hard to imagine it’s not a successful one. After sitting out the 2020 season due to an injury, he was reelected a captain for the 2021 Oklahoma Sooners squad. It goes to show just what Caleb Kelly means to his teammates and the University of Oklahoma.
