ESPN’s Bonagura (the writer I always prefer of the two) and McMurphy both put the Nittany Lions into the College Football Playoff against Alabama. McMurphy slots in Penn State as the No. 4 seed, while Bonagura has them third. It’s way too early for me to get excited about the Playoff, but it’s interesting to see nonetheless. The other popular pick is the Rose Bowl, which I am always in favor of, and then CBS Sports is just bad.
