Following a rough first half that saw Florida basketball down by one heading into the locker room, the Gators turned the dial up to 11 and managed to earn a comfortable 77-57 win inside the O’Connell Center on Tuesday night against the Merrimack Warriors.
Four of Todd Golden’s players finished with double-digit points led by Walter Clayton’s 26, followed by Alex Condon (12), Tyrese Samuel (11) and Zyon Pullin (10). Condon’s 16 rebounds gave him his first career double-double while Thomas Haugh also posted double digits with 11 boards.
The win pushes the Gators’ record to 5-3 with the Richmond Spiders coming up in Sunrise, Florida, on Saturday. In the meantime, take a look at photo highlights from Florida’s win on Tuesday night against Merrimack.
