It looked like Florida basketball would run away with a home win over the visiting Mississippi State Bulldogs, but a late second-half rally kept things close. Nonetheless, the Gators ultimately prevailed. XX-YY, inside the O’Connell Center on Wednesday.
Todd Golden’s team was led by guard Will Richards, who dropped a team-high 23 points along with nine rebounds, a pair of blocks and steals, plus an assist. Four total Gators scored in double digits, with Zyon Pullin, Tyrese Samuel and Walter Clayton also reaching the mark.
Mississippi State freshman guard Josh Hubbard also scored a game-high 26 points, adding four rebounds and an assist to his tally.
