Florida basketball earned an 86-71 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers on Wednesday night inside the Barclays Center in the first of a pair of NIT Season Tip-Off matchups.
The Gators were down early but pulled even by the midpoint of the first half. From there, the two teams were neck-to-neck until the Orange and Blue went on a run to take a five-point lead into halftime. Todd Golden’s gang dominated the second half, resulting in the final score.
