Florida basketball once again blew a second-half lead only to overcome a late rally by their opponents to prevail. This time, the LSU Tigers roared back from a 20-point deficit only to come up short, 82-80, inside the O’Connell Center on Tuesday night.
There were few signs of a hangover from last Saturday’s big win over the Auburn Tigers, but the Gators did play a little loose — a codeword for sloppy — in the first half but still took a double-digit lead into the half. Almost like clockwork, Todd Golden’s team forgot how to score and let the visitors get back into the game, leading to the last-second decision.
Nonetheless, the Orange and Blue prevailed, increasing its record to 17-7 overall with a 7-4 mark in Southeastern Conference play. Take a look below at highlights from the latest win. More photos will be added as updates come through.
