Notes and Thoughts

  • Beau Pribula’s 22 snaps was his most against FBS competition this season. His coming into the game seemed to spark the offense. I felt like I was watching Trace McSorley out there.
  • Kalen King only had 26 snaps in the game. As far as I know, he was not injured in the game, so it was a bit odd he only had half the snaps Johnny Dixon did.
  • Nick Singleton had only 20 snaps compared to Kaytron Allen’s 37. His fumble early in the game likely got him some time on the bench.
  • Penn State desperately needs to address the wide receiver situation in the offseason. A new offensive coordinator will not fix the issues we have seen there all season. Only two receivers had more than 20 snaps for the third straight week.
