Success With Hyperlinking Isn’t Looking For Revenge

Success With Hyperlinking Isn’t Looking For Revenge

We are looking for an answer to the running game, however.

Penn State is back in the Top 4. After a rather unexciting win over Villanova, the Nittany Lions jumped two spots, past a fellow undefeated Big Ten team and an Oklahoma team whose defense saved a struggling offense.

While Penn State’s College Football Playoff chances still aren’t the best, even in the conference, being within shouting distance of the CFP may be just as important as making it at all.

There are still areas of the game that Penn State will need to clean up to remain in contention. Most glaringly, what is up with the running game? It’s easy to cover up when Sean Clifford has a career day and the defense remains elite, but a running back room that was meant to be one of the best in the conference hasn’t performed to its potential so far.

The Nittany Lions will have another chance to fix that run game in a prime time, Stripe Out matchup against Indiana. The Hoosiers sit at 2-2 with losses to No. 5 Iowa and No. 7 Cincinnati, and barely escaped Western Kentucky last weekend.

While bitterness is sure to exist after last season’s controversial ending, James Franklin and the Nittany Lions don’t want to call this a revenge game.
