Head Coach Cael Sanderson spoke to the media ahead of the wrestling team’s weekend trip to to face Michigan (Fri) and Michigan State (Sun).

This afternoon, Cael Sanderson met with the media ahead of the wrestling team’s weekend trip to face Michigan (Fri, Jan 19, BTN TV) and Michigan State (Sunday, Jan 21 B1G+). Cael spoke repeatedly on the quality opponents the lions will face vs Michigan, confirmed that Iowa is indeed in the Midwest, and how they would have recruited Mitchell Mesenbrink if they knew the monster he was going to turn into.

Author’s Note: That makes two weekends in a row of winter weather during this availability. Classes were cancelled today, however, and the room was pretty quiet overall today, with Varner’s (and maybe DT’s?) girls the most active in the dodgeball action.
