4-3-3 Aston Villa Predicted Line Up Vs Leicester City

||

Aston Villa will clash heads with Leicester City as they travel to King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon looking to grab a win. The Villans managed to keep Manchester City at a scoreline of 1-1 as the match ended in a draw in their last Premier League fixture. On the other hand, the Foxes come into the match on the back of a poor 5-2 loss against Brighton, only to extend their dismaying start to the campaign.

Steven Gerrard will probably deploy his team in a 4-3-3 formation as Ashley Young keeps his place in the right-back position while Ollie Watkins leads the line.

Defence

Emiliano Martinez will operate in between the sticks for the Villans as he looks to keep a clean sheet in this away encounter. Ezri Konsa could partner up with Tyrone Mings at the heart of Aston Villa’s backline as they look to produce a solid display against Leicester City.

Ashley Young could start at the right-back position while Lucas Digne looks to impress on the opposite flank as the left-back. Both of them would be expected to stretch the opposition in the final third and remain compact defensively.

Calum Chambers will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the centre-back positions.

Midfield

Gerrard’s midfield trio would comprise of John McGinn, Boubacar Kamara and Douglas Luiz at the centre of the park. All three of them would need to be efficient when distributing possession in the centre of the park. The midfield trio will also need to create enough chances for the men up front to secure a win in this clash.

Phillipe Coutinho would take a spot on the bench as he might come on to make an impact in the latter half if required.

Attack

Ollie Watkins will lead the line for the Villans up top. He will need to step up and be more productive in front of the goal, so he could fancy his chances of finding the back of the net.

Leon Bailey will operate in the right-wing position as Jacob Ramsey functions on the opposite flank. Both of them will be providing support from the wide areas as they will be required to create some clear-cut goal-scoring chances in the final third.

Emiliano Buendia will act as a reserve as he could come on to make an impact if Gerrard looks to opt for a change of attacking scenario in the second half.
