‘Bhaiya captain to aap ho’: Ishan Kishan’s hilarious reply to Rohit Sharma | Watch video

Xtra Time Web Desk: When it comes to being the most loveable character in the current Indian team, it has to be Ishan Kishan. The wicket keeper batter from Jharkhand is a lively character and keeps everyone entertained in the Indian cricket team.

On Wednesday it was evident once again during a post-match chat when Ishan made his captain Rohit Sharma broke into laughter. What exactly happened? In the video uploaded by BCCI on Twitter, Rohit towards the end of the conversation with Shubmana and Ishan asked the later “why despite scoring 200 he sat out for 3 games”.

Ishan’s instant reply was, “Bhaiya yeh to aap btaoge, captain to aap ho,”

Rohit and Shubman could not hold back their laughs.

Shubman joined a special club of Indian batters scoring 200 in ODIs. He hit 208 off 149 balls, his third ODI hundred, and became the fifth Indian batsman to score a double century in the format after Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan.

Incidentally, Gill broke Ishan’s record of becoming the youngest Indian batter to score a double hundred. Ishan achieved the milestone last month at the age of 24, when he scored 210 against Bangladesh in third ODI on December 10,2022.
