The World Cup winning captain was travelling somewhere with his wife seated in economy class along with other co-passengers. The video of Dhoni became instantly viral on social media with Candy Crush gaming app downloads escalating to 3.6 million in just three hours.
The video shows an air hostess of Indigo flight offering chocolates to the Chennai Super Kings skipper. Dhoni obliged her by taking a packet of ‘Omani dates’. The flight attendant was seen engaging in a friendly conversation with Dhoni before returning to her work. The small video clip left Dhoni’s fans praising his simplicity.
The video went viral on social media so much that the hashtag Candy Crush started trending along with MS Dhoni on Twitter.
