Timo Werner has struggled since joining Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
After lighting up the Bendesliga with his goal-scoring exploits, the Blues signed the German forward from RB Leipzig for about £48 million in 2020.
Werner scored an outstanding 28 goals in his final season in Germany, and he was linked with clubs all across Europe before deciding to join Chelsea.
However, he has struggled to adjust to the demands of the Premier League and is already being linked with his next move, with Barcelona reportedly keeping an eye on him.
According to the newest speculations, Chelsea could make a stunning exchange with Bayern Munich to get rid of him.
Liverpool is thought to have moved on one of their defensive targets, while the Blues have figured out how to obtain Federico Chiesa.

Liverpool is allegedly ready to make an offer for Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo, which might mean Chelsea misses out on one of their center-back targets.
The Blues wanted the player to replace Antonio Rudiger, whose contract expires at the end of the season, according to Spanish daily El Nacional [via Metro].
However, they may have a battle to seal the deal, with Liverpool reportedly willing to quadruple his pay if he moves to Anfield.

Thomas Tuchel is known to be a great fan of the Italy winger and wants to bring him to Chelsea.
And, with Juventus currently languishing in seventh position in Serie A, they may have the chance to sign him.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport [via Football Italia], if Juve fails to qualify for the Champions League next season, Chiesa will be sold in order to balance the books.
The Italian giants are expected to lose roughly €80 million if they fail to qualify, and may be obliged to authorize the sale of their top player, according to the article.

According to reports, the Blues could make a surprise deal to trade Timo Werner for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
Following his spectacular goalscoring exploits for the Bavarians, Lionel Messi suggested when accepting his Ballon d’Or earlier this week that the honor should be given to the Polish striker for 2020.
Lewandowski has been offered to the Blues by his agent, according to The Transfer Window podcast [via Football.London].
“It is certainly the fact that he (Pini Zahavi) has offered Lewandowski to Chelsea and Granovskaia,” Ian McGarry said on The Transfer Window podcast.
“A deal that might see Werner join Bayern Munich.” Tuchel/Werner is an intriguing prospect that is being discussed.”
