The Gunners will be focused on January, but plans will also be in place for July, when the summer transfer window reopens.
Arsenal were not afraid to spend money during the summer transfer window, and with Mikel Arteta still eager to improve his squad, we can definitely anticipate more of the same in the future.
Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Nuno Tavares, Martin Odegaard, and Albert Sambi Lokonga all cost £142 million and have already made an impact in the 2021-22 season.
Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi is one player said to be on Edu and Arteta’s radar. According to club president Harald Luzerg, Adeyemi is practically destined to leave.
On Bild’s Bayern Insider podcast, he added, “We are aware that Karim will most likely take the next step next summer.”
Moving from Salzburg to the Premier League has proven to be a successful route in the past, with Southampton buying Sadio Mane from the club in 2014.

After periods with Southampton and Liverpool, the dynamic forward has scored over 100 goals in the Premier League. The Gunners will not want to miss out if Adeyemi can deliver similar consistency and longevity.
Adeyemi has recently been persuaded by transfer analyst Gianluca Di Marzio that a move to Arsenal would be better for his career than a move to Barcelona, who are also rumoured to be keen.
Di Marzio stated Wettfreunde, “I think he would be a better fit for Arsenal than Barcelona.”
“Barcelona’s style of play is very different from Arsenal’s. And if I had to picture him playing for one of those clubs, I’d pick Arsenal because it matches his style of play better.”
In 15 Bundesliga games in Austria this season, the 19-year-old striker has scored 11 goals, with four more in the Champions League.
However, it’s possible that the transfer is contingent on Arsenal securing European qualification, giving them even more incentive to maintain their current form.
