IPL 2022: MS Dhoni becomes 6th Indian to score 7000 runs in T20 cricket

Xtra Time Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings star Mahendra Singh Dhoni reached another milestone to his decorated cap on Thursday as he became the very 6th Indian to score a spectacular 7000 runs in T20 cricket during the ongoing match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against the newly formed Lucknow Super Giants in Mumbai.

The other star batsman to achieve this landmark in T20 cricket are as follows:

Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma

Suresh Raina

Shikhar Dhawan

Robin Uthappa

Dhoni joined an exclusive list of cricketers to have achieved the feat before him. Dhoni needed 15 before the start of CSK’s match against LSG to get to the milestone. Dhoni has now scored over 7000 runs in 349 T20 matches. He has 0 hundred and 28 fifties in the shortest format of the game.
