“For the sake of the Sport, the IPL, the fans and even the players I think BCCI needs to enforce the sale of RCB to a new owner who will care to build a sports franchise the way most of the other teams have done so,” Bhupathi wrote on X.
Meanwhile, in a recent clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Travis Head’s explosive century and Heinrich Klaasen’s blitz propelled Sunrisers to a monumental 287/3, setting a new record for the highest total in IPL history. Despite valiant efforts from du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik, RCB fell short, succumbing to a 25-run defeat.
