Nketiah Leads The Line, Odegaard On The Bench | 4-2-3-1 Arsenal Predicted Line Up Vs Bodo/Glimt

Arsenal will clash heads with Norway’s Bodo/Glimt as they welcome them to the Emirates Stadium in Thursday’s Group A Europa League match-up. The Gunners will be looking to grab all three points in this European contest after recording a an emphatic 3-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur in their last Premier league outing.

Mikel Arteta will probably opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation but is expected to make quite a lot of changes to the playing XI for this home encounter. Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko will all be dropping out of the side to get back to full fitness before this weekend’s clash against Liverpool.

4-2-3-1 Arsenal Predicted Line Up Vs Bodo/Glimt

Defence

Matt Turner will get the chance to operate in between the sticks for the Gunners. Gabriel will continue at the back but Rob Holding will replace William Saliba to impress in the defensive third.

Kieran Tierney will get the nod over Ben White in the right-back position while Takehiro Tomiyasu replaces Zincheko and fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to keep a good defensive shape at the back and will get forward to stretch the opposition.

Saliba and White will provide cover for the defensive positions and could come on in the second half if required.

Midfield

Granit Xhaka and Albert Sambi Lokonga will take up the holding midfield positions as they try to dominate the battle at the centre of the park and distribute the ball efficiently to their teammates. Fabio Vieira will replace Martin Odegaard in the advanced attacking midfield position and will be tasked with creating some decent opportunities for others around him.

Odegaard will be named on the bench and will be called into the match in the second half if required.

Attack

Gabriel Martinelli would be eager to put his pace to good use on the left flank while Marquinhos gets the nod over Bukayo Saka as he hopes to produce a good display from the right.

Eddie Nketiah will lead the charge for Arsenal on the attacking end of the field. He will be looking to find the back of the net and get his name on the scoresheet.

Gabriel Jesus will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Arteta opts to call upon his services.
