Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba summoned by court over 2018 assault case

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Jamnagar Court on Tuesday summoned Ravindra Jajde’s wife Rivaba and her mother in a 2018 case where she was assaulted by a policeman after an accident.

This is the final summon given by the Jamnagar court for Rivaba and her mother in the case. Both women didn’t give any statements yet in the case after calling repeated summons. The latest summon was sent to Jadeja’s wife by the Rajkot police.

The accused incident occurred at Saru Section road in Jamnagar in 2018 when Rivaba’s car allegedly hit the motorcycle of the constable who attacked her. A man claiming to have witnessed the incident had said the policeman thrashed Reeva Jadeja “brutally”.

The driver of the two-wheeler was identified as Preeti Sharma, who is a student at Jamnagar’s Vidyasagar Institute. Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt in the incident with Sharma receiving minor injuries. Jadeja took Sharma to a nearby hospital where she got the necessary treatment and was discharged soon after.
