Xtra Time Web Desk: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will start a disciplinary inquiry against batting coach Grant Flower for an alleged bio-bubble breach in England. The former Zimbabwe batsman is one of the two members of Sri Lankan squad that tested positive for COVID-19 since returning from England. As per reports, Sri Lanka Cricket Board is not happy with the way things have panned out with Flower and will start an inquiry for an alleged breach in bio-bubble in UK.

The 50-year-old also had issues with getting vaccinated as well. The Zimbabwean wanted only Pfizer vaccines which is not available in Sri Lanka. All the Sri Lankan players and support staffs were given Russian and Chinese vaccines. If Flower is found to be guilty then he might face a strict action from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board.

Grant was detected with the deadly virus hours after landing in Colombo, which raised alarm bells in the Lankan camp. Following the COVID-19 case in Sri Lanka camp the limited overs series against India had to be delayed by 5 days. The series will now start from July 18 instead of July 13.
