Xtra Time Web Desk: India captain Virat Kohli restrained himself from reacting to a silly question from a Pakistani journalist after the embarrassing loss to Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2021 match at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Pakistan totally outplayed India, winning their first ever World Cup match against India by 10 wickets.
The Indian captain was taken by surprise when he was asked by a Pakistani journalist if he thought of dropping Rohit Sharma and picking Ishan Kishan instead?
“It’s a very brave question. What do you think, sir? I played the team that I thought was the best,” said Virat at the post-match conference.
Kohli restrained his emotions and asked the scribe what he would have done.
“I’m simply asking you? Will you drop Rohit Sharma from T20 internationals? You’ll drop Rohit Sharma? If you would like controversy, please inform me earlier than in order that I can reply accordingly. Unbelievable!” Kohli reacted.
