This stormy innings of Rahul played on the ground of Mohali included 6 fours and 4 sixes. This is the fastest fifty so far in IPL history. With this, this is the third-fastest half-century in T20 cricket so far. Before KL Rahul, the record for the fastest fifty was in the name of Sunil Narine and Yusuf Pathan of the KKR team.

Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan, the only Indian to score the fastest century in the IPL, has also scored the second-fastest fifty in the IPL tournament. Yusuf Pathan completed his half-century in just 15 balls during IPL 7 in the year 2014 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens at his team KKR’s home ground.
