Xtra Time Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings talisman MS Dhoni has teased an exclusive announcement on his facebook page for Sunday at 2 PM (IST). The former India skipper took to his social media page on Saturday and stated that he has some exciting news to share on September 25.

Soon the fans began to speculate whether the 41-year-old will announce his retirement after the IPL 2023 season. Dhoni has retired from international cricket back in August 2020. But he still plays for CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Fans began speculating about the post’s motivation as soon as Dhoni published it on Facebook. Several cricket fans are in fear that Dhoni may be retiring from the IPL.

The Chennai Super Kings management has already confirmed that Dhoni will be at the helm, leading the franchise in next IPL season. Will Dhoni too confirm that he will lead the Yellow Army in IPL 2023 on something else is in store for his fans.

There has been speculations last IPL season as well that Dhoni might hand his boots from IPL. But eventually nothing of that sort happened. With Dhoni one can never predict what he is going to do.
