Will Rinku Singh play for Mohun Bagan?

Xtra Time Web Desk: Mohun Bagan, known for its consistent success in football, has now made a big impact in cricket as well.

In an effort to form the best team for the upcoming P. Sen Trophy, Mohun Bagan has proposed to include the former IPL superstar Rinku Singh in their lineup.

Previously, Mohun Bagan’s jersey has been adorned by former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli. It has also been worn by legendary figures like Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil Dev during their time in East Bengal. Now, Mohun Bagan is continuing that tradition by attempting to bring Rinku into their fold.

Rinku Singh created a storm in the recent IPL. As a Kolkata Knight Riders player, he scored 474 runs in 14 matches, including a memorable moment of hitting five sixes in the last over against the Gujarat Titans.

However, the news is that Rinku has rejected Mohun Bagan’s proposal. Nevertheless, Mohun Bagan supporters remain undeterred.

In another development, Mohun Bagan is set to bring in all-rounder Lalit Yadav from Delhi Capitals and Deepak Punia from Mumbai Indians.

Now, it remains to be seen how Mohun Bagan shapes their team for the upcoming P. Sen Trophy.
