
Xtra Time Web Desk: 17 year old Indian origin tennis player from New Jersey, Samir Banerjee stormed into the semi final of Wimbledon boys singles on Friday. Samir defeated Mili Polisaq of Croatia in straight sets in the quarter finals. The score read 6-1, 6-1 in favour of Samir.
Hailing from Basking Ridge in New Jersey, Samir learnt his tennis in the United States. The 19 year old buy recently lost his first round match at the French Open. He also reached the quarter finals of ITF Juniors held in Delhi in 2019.
