In the Royal Rumble 2021 kick off show, we saw a WWE match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship where Asuka and Charlotte set to defend their titles against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. In the match, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeated the champions and become the new Women’s Tag Team Champion. Here we are with the WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Results, Winners, and Highlights.
Now in the main event of the show starts with the WWE Championship match.
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Goldberg – WWE Championship match at Royal Rumble
This match lasted a little bit longer than we expected Goldberg matches. This match proved one of the good but not the best match on the show.
In the ending moments of the match, Drew McIntyre was all set to deliver Claymore Kick but Goldberg duck underneath and hit the Spear. And Goldberg against delivering Spear but Drew McIntyre kicks out. Drew McIntyre looks hurt and Goldberg setting himself for Jackhammer and it connects. But again Drew McIntyre kicks out.

Then again Goldberg looking for another Spear and this time Drew McIntyre counter is with a huge Claymore Kick. And this time Goldberg not kicks out on three counts.
Result: Drew McIntyre def. Goldberg to retain the WWE Championship
Next match coming up for WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella – SmackDown Women’s Championship match
This is another match that proves as good and a little bit above per of the night. Both superstars try to give their best in the match.
In the last moments of the match, Sasha Banks delivers the third amigo in the ring. Then goes for Frog Splash but Carmella counter it with knees. Now Carmella tries to lock Banks into Code of Silence but Sasha Banks counter it and hits a knee to Carmella.

Then Carmella delivers Suicide Dive but it hurt her instead on face badly. Now Carmella hits Banks with the kicks but she counters it with Banks Statement and Carmella taps out.
Result: Sasha Banks def. Carmella to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship

Women’s Royal Rumble 2021 match
One of the most attractive points in the Royal Rumble show every year is Royal Rumble matches. This match goes above per our expectations. Each and every superstar who enter the match put an amazing performance and make this match one of the best of the night as well as memorable.
After the last 30th entrant in the Royal Rumble match, match down to the last four women that Natalya, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Rhea Ripley. Natalya is involved with each other on the apron and Rhea Ripley about to eliminate but Bianca Belair comes out and eliminates Natalya. Then she tries to eliminate Rhea Ripley but she hung on.

Then Bianca and Rhea teamed up and attacked Charlotte Flair. Charlotte tossed up Belair around and starts a brawl with Rhea Ripley and they both tries their best to eliminate each other. Flair about to hit Big Boot but Rhea throws her on top of the ropes. Charlotte hung on there but Bianca hit her with an elbow and both Rhea and Belair threw Charlotte Flair out ring and match.
Not down to two Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. Rhea hit a kick to Bianca and played back and forth action. Bianca Belair tries to hit KOD but Ripley counters it. But against Bianca Belair recounter Rhea Ripley’s move and eliminate her with a big clothesline.
Result: Bianca Belair won the Royal Rumble match and is headed to WrestleMania
The next match coming up is for WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens – Last Man Standing Match for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble
This is another match that goes best of the night. We knew both Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns are great performers and this match is proof of that. If we describe this match then one word comes to mind that is incredible.
In the last moment of the match, Kevin Owens handcuffs Roman Reigns to a light fixer. As the referee goes for 10 counts. Roman looks desperate and in that process, he knocked out the referee. Then Roman hit Kevin Owens with a low blow. Paul Heyman tries to unlock Roman Reigns but he fails to do so.

The new referee comes but he counts slowly and it helps Roman Reigns to somehow unlock himself. Then Roman Reigns locks Kevin Owens into Guillotine. And Kevin Owens again passed out. The referee counts it to 10.
Result: Roman Reigns def. Kevin Owens to retain the Universal Championship

2021 30 Men’s Royal Rumble match
This match is the top highlighted point of the 2021 Royal Rumble pay per view. Countless unforgettable moments we witness in the whole match. Every superstar gives their best and makes this match one of the best WWE matches of the 2021 year.
After Braun Strowman enters the match at 30th position. There are Riddle, Cesaro, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Christian, and Edge in the ring left.

Cesaro tries to Braun Strowman down and out but Braun Strowman throws him out. And Braun Strowman throws Sheamus out. Then He throws AJ Styles out. Braun Strowman then goes after Edge and tries to eliminate him but the edge is hung on.
Bryan hit dropkicks to both Christian and Braun Strowman. In the ring, Seth Rollins and Riddle fought each other out. Riddle hits Ripcord Knee to Seth. Then both fight on the apron and Rollins now hits Stomp on Riddle and eliminate him.
Seth then tries to make a team with Braun Strowman but Strowman picks him up hits Powerslam. Then Braun Strowman charges towards Edge and tries to hit Slam. But Christian come in the aid of Edge and both eliminated Braun Strowman. Then Seth Rollins comes out and eliminates Christina and in the process Edge throws Seth out of the ring.

Now out of nowhere, Randy Orton comes because he was not eliminating from the match and attack Edge. Orton hits RKO and tries to throw Edge out of the ring but Edge reverses it and eliminates the last 29th men that Randy Orton and wins the Royal Rumble match.
Result: Edge won the Royal Rumble and is going to Wrestlemania
So we can say that Royal Rumble 2021 and the first WWE pay per view of the year 2021 is amazing and worthy to watch out for. We witness some incredible performance in the night either it comes from a Women’s Royal Rumble match or from Universal Championship match or Men’s Royal Rumble match. So WWE is quite successful to give us some surprising and shocking returns in the night.
