Eight-episode Netflix docuseries to film at 2022 Tour de France
The ASO and Netflix are teaming up for an eight-episode documentary series showcasing the 2022 Tour de France. Following the success of the Netflix series Drive to Survive, the cycling docuseries will shadow eight teams throughout the three-week Grand Tour.
Viewers will be taken behind the scenes of AG2R Citroën, Alpecin-Fenix, BORA-Hansgrohe, EF Education-EasyPost, Groupama-FDJ, Ineos Grenadiers, Jumbo-Visma and Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl.
Filming started in March and will run at least through July 24, when the race finishes in Paris.
“We are very proud to unveil new aspects of the emblematic Tour de France,” said EMEA Unscripted & Doc Series Manager at Netflix France Dolores Emile. “This is a unique opportunity to dive into the stories of its inspiring characters!”
Produced by Quadbox, the series will be made in partnership with QUAD and Box to box Films, who make Drive to Survive.
