4-3-3 Leicester City predicted lineup vs Aston Villa

||

Leicester City will welcome Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they look to collect all three points at home. The Foxes suffered a disappointing 5-2 defeat away at Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, so they would be desperate to put in a much-improved showing versus the Villans.

Brendan Rodgers could set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this game. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Wout Faes could play from the start in this Premier League match this weekend.

Defence

Danny Ward will operate in between the sticks for the Foxes despite shipping in five goals in his last league appearance. Jonny Evans will probably get a chance to partner Wout Faes at the heart of the Leicester backline as they look to keep the Aston Villa attackers at bay this Saturday afternoon.

James Justin could keep his spot at right-back while Luka Thomas hoped to put in a hard-working display as the left-back. Rodgers could instruct both of them to be more adventurous than usual in this game.

Daniel Amartey will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Boubakary Soumaré and Youri Tielemans will make up the Leicester midfield. Their main focus would be to stop the opposition from dominating the game at the centre of the park. Rodgers will also expect Dewsbury-Hall and Tielemans to be creative with their passing in the opponent’s half.

Dennis Praet will be available for selection on the bench but might get a chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Harvey Barnes will hope to put his pace to good use on the left flank. James Maddison has to figure out a way to carry most of the creative burden from the right.

Patson Daka will lead the charge for the East Midlands club on his own up top. This match would be another rate chance for him to showcase what he is capable of, so we can expect the talented striker to be hungry to find the back of the net this weekend.

Jamie Vardy’s form of late has been poor, to say the least. Hence, he can expect to start this game on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the contest if needed.
