Xtra Time Web Desk: The upcoming white ball series between India and Sri Lanka has been pushed back by four days. The decision has been taken as the Sri Lankan cricketers need longer isolation period. The series will now start from July 17 instead of July 13. The three ODIs will be played on July 17, 19 and 21. The dates of the three T20Is are July 24,25 and 27 respectively. Sri Lanka Cricket is likely to make an official announcement soon.
Meanwhile the Sri Lankan selectors have picked a provisional squad for the upcoming series subject to the approval of the Ministry. The side will be led by Dasun Shanaka while Dhananjaya de Silva has been appointed as the vice-captain of the side. Kusal Perera has kept his place in the side after a disastrous tour of England.
Sri Lanka squad: Dasun Shanaka (Captain), Dhanan- jaya de Silva (Vice-Captain), Kusal Janith Perera, Avishka Fernando, Pathum Nis- sanka, Charith Asalanka, Wanindu Hasa- ranga, Ramesh Mendis, Chamika Karunaratne, Dhananjaya Lakshan, Ishan Jayaratne, Dushmantha Chameera, Isuru Udana, Asitha Fernando, Binura Fernan- do, Shiran Fernando, Lakshan Sandakan, Akila Dananjaya, Praveen Jayawickrama, Ashen Bandara, Lahiru Udara, Minod Bhanuka, Lahiru Kumara, Kasun Rajitha and Bhanuka Rajapaksa.
