India Tour of Sri Lanka: Yuzvendra Chahal and K Gowtham too tests positive for COVID-19

Xtra Time Web Desk: After all-rounder Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gowtham too have tested positive for COVID-19. Both Chahal and Gowtham were among the eight players who were self-isolating after Krunal tested positive on Tuesday.

All the nine Indian cricketers (six were in close contacts with Krunal Pandya) will be not allowed to travel back to India on Friday as per the Covid protocols in the island nation.

The Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan lost the three matches T20I series to Sri Lanka on Thursday. It was the first series loss for the Men in Blue after winning eight consecutive series.
