Kylian Mbappe set to depart PSG, adding to club’s loss of key stars

Xtra Time Web Desk : Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos have already left, and now another key star of the team, Kylian Mbappe, is set to depart from Paris Saint-Germain. According to reports, Mbappe has informed PSG of his decision to leave.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG was set to expire in June 2024, but PSG has proposed extending it until 2025. However, according to reports from L’Equipe, Mbappe has communicated his decision to the club via a letter.

As a result, it is likely that PSG will have to sell Mbappe during this time, or else they risk losing the 24-year-old superstar as a free agent next year.

According to L’Equipe’s report, PSG is not willing to let Mbappe leave as a free agent. However, they still have time to convince Mbappe to stay. Until July 31st, they can renew his contract for another year as per his current agreement.

In 2017, Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco for a transfer fee of €190 million.
