Arsenal first choice right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu remains a doubt for Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool on Wednesday.
The right-back has been struggling with a calf injury and has not played since January 20.
Wednesday’s visit of Liverpool is likely to come too soon for Tomiyasu and Cedric Soares should start again.
“Tomi is the only one that is still there in contention,” said manager Mikel Arteta.
“We have been trying to push him, but with the handbrake a little bit because we need to be careful as we don’t want to get another injury with him.
Arsenal’s biggest selection dilemma is around the left flank as Arteta has to decide whether to start Emile Smith Rowe or Gabriel Martinelli.
Arsenal predicted XI: (4-3-3): Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli.
Wednesday 8.15pm GMT, Sky Sports
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Referee: Andre Marriner
Arsenal squad: Leno, Ramsdale, Okonkwo; Cedric, Gabriel, Holding, Tavares, Tierney, Tomiyasu, White; Elneny, Lokonga, Odegaard, Patino, Partey, Saka, Smith Rowe, Xhaka; Lacazette, Martinelli, Nketiah and Pepe.
